1969 Pontiac GTO
Date: 2022-08-11
Price: $46,000
Location: Coral Springs, FL, United States
NEW PRICE! Hurry- This is a VERY NICE REAL GTO! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is pleased to present this far out 1969 Pontiac GTO. This one was born a real 4237 VIN GTO and features a neat semi-custom paint scheme with blue flames. The body looks great as do the panel gaps and Endura nose. It is a sharp goat no doubt. For you purists out there it was code 65-65 (Antique Gold) originally with no vinyl top. Now shes JET black with eye catching subtle blue flames. Looks like a fighter jet ready to spank a few would be challengers and defend the GTO legacy. This car rips it. Under the hood you will find the original YS code 400 per the Seller and large valve 62 heads (72cc) with matching J188 date codes. The 69 GTO base 400 was rated at a conservative 350 horses with stump pulling 445 ft. lbs. of torque. These cars not only look great but they are a pleasure to drive or reduce the rear tires to a pile of burnt rubber. Power finds its way to the asphalt through a 10-bolt rear. 4-wheel discs help assure a safe stop. The owner indicates only a 2-owner history and the original 400 engine and THM400 auto were rebuilt 1000 miles ago as well as ground up restoration including powder coating the frame and a few suspension upgrades. He also indicates all original GM panels on the car. The black interior looks great. This one is the recipient of one of the cool 67-68 Hurst Dual Gate shifters. Always neat to see vintage stuff like that. Nothing quite like looking out over the bulging hood and fenders on 68-69 GTOs. One could even add the factory hood tach if wanted. The 1969 GTO grew up a bit with a more modern dash better cylinder heads no more vent windows and updated grills / rear bumper. It was the first year for The Judge model as well as the RAIII & RAIV engines. This is a car you can have fun with- and save a ton of money over a far more costly Judge version. It will surely get the looks- and represent a time and manufacturer no longer made. We all miss Pontiac with their untouchable early 60s track records and groovy cars. But fortunately many survived the era and we are always happy to have them.

1969 Pontiac GTO
Date: 2022-08-11
Price: $52,995
Location: La Vergne, TN, United States
This 1969 Pontiac GTO has an awesomely coordinated and vibrant style.Plus, you have another Pontiac icon with Tri-Power under the hood! And as you check out the full package you'll really see all the best pieces you want on a true classic muscle machine. The GTO is the granddaddy of the muscle car, but the paint on this one is from a more modern legend. The Viper Red has an awesomely vibrant style that will stand out amongst other Pontiacs, but it also will never look out of place on a powerful GTO.This upgrade happened in 2000, but the overall condition looks far younger than that. So you can tell this was under good care. In fact, the idea of proper respect and proper intimidation are part of the full package that includes good-looking body panels, a twin-scoop hood, The Judge-style spoiler, bright exhaust tips, and iconic Cragar SS wheels.Plus, we love the bumpers on the '69 GTO because you have a cool color-matched Endura front one and a bright chrome one hugging the rear. And this premium and performance look is perfectly topped with a taut black vinyl roof. The roof also is a great preview of the interior color. And once you open the door, you see more signs that the right care and investments went into this coupe. The black vinyl looks excellent, and it carries all the great classic badging and trim on places like the door panels and seats. And speaking of the seats, we love the way this gives you the classic bench style for true vintage fun, but the fold-down armrest is there for those times when you want a more personal driving experience. There are a few well-placed upgrades, like the AM/FM digital tuner with cassette and auxiliary readouts under the dash. The driver gets a grip on the original-style factory three-spoke wheel, and beyond that is the sporty triple pod gauge package. Looking for the tach? It's outside on the iconic hood-mounted unit.It wouldn't be a '69 GTO without the big 400 cubic-inch V8 under the hood.It looks great filling out the tidy engine bay with its shiny valve covers and correct turquoise block. But at the center is something unique. The triple set of dual-barrel carburetors is the kind of Tri-Power setup that helped the first-year GTO establish its supremacy from the start, and so it's a powerful way to pay tribute to that car.The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is both stout and smooth, and it feeds the 12-bolt Positraction rear end.Add in power steering, power brakes, and front disc brakes, and you have a distinct coupe that's good for cruising.Complete with owner's manual, this coupe nails it with the color, power, and features. So if you've dreamed of a '69 GTO, you better hurry on this one before it's gone.Call today!!!

For some people, a restoration is simply painting a car and replacing items as needed, while for others, restoration means an extensive disassembly and overhaul, with each piece getting rebuilt or replaced. As a consumer, it's important to understand the basics of restoration levels for it can impact classic car values substantially. There are hundreds of ways to restore a vintage car or truck including but not limited to the following: i). Frame off restoration. Body of vehicle is completely taken off the frame and restoration includes body, frame, floor pans (top and bottom), etc. these restorations tend to be extensive and costly. ii). Rotisserie restoration. These restorations are when the body (or body and frame on a unibody vehicle) are disassembled and restored utilizing a rotisserie. Body of vehicle is completely taken off the frame and restoration includes body, frame, floor pans (top and bottom), etc. these restorations tend to be extensive and costly and iii). Cosmetic or driver quality restoration. These restoration are typically limited to cosmetic items including paint and body, interior, trim and emblems, etc. Within the three levels or restoration mentioned above, there can be varying quality from an in the garage / amateur restoration to a high dollar professional concours restoration. There is a universal 100 point grading system rating classic car conditions ranging from 100 being excellent to 20 being unrestorable. In addition to the levels of restoration above, it's important to understand the type of restoration as well for it can also impact value substantially. Type of restorations include: i). Factory or stock restoration. This type of restoration is geared towards restoring the car or truck to stock specs from the factory as if it were new. These types of restorations use original or oem (original equipment manufacturer) where possible. Factory original restorations tend to bring the highest dollars from collectors. ii). Custom restoration. These types of restorations are geared towards builder preference over factory stock. These can be referred to as customs or hot rods . Typically these vehicles will have custom paint work, aftermarket wheels, suspension upgrades, power plant transplants, etc. A specific sector of custom restoration vehicles is pro-touring or restomod / restomods which are custom built with a more modern street performance and creature comforts than the original factory vehicle. Please note that WWVA is not a restoration shop nor do we restore vehicles to any degree. For questions on what type or level of restoration of any of our vehicles in inventory please call our vintage sales expert today at 1-877-422-2940. We provide approximately 75 HD images, and an HD video, in every one of our listings. Very few companies offer this much detail. We spend time inspecting and disclosing items on all of our vehicles; however, at the end of the day, we are not you... we highly suggest that you come and inspect the vehicle. The information contained in this ad is solely for convenience. The description is an opinion only and should not be considered a complete description of any or all faults; it may not be relied upon nor taken as fact or otherwise a representation or warranty of any sort. Please note, we did NOT build or restore the vehicle. Vehicles are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with all faults known/unknown and with no implied warranty. Unless shown in the photographs, we do NOT have documentation, receipts, or photographs of the vehicle listed. We do not recommend driving a classic car home. 1969 Pontiac GTO

Price: $105,000

Pontiac first introduced the GTO as an optional package on its Tempest model in 1964. Credited with starting the Muscle Car rage, the GTO moved on the become its own model in 1965, with all major automakers quickly introducing a model to challenge its success. With an emphasis on street racing; the GTO was a clear front-runner among muscle cars. in 1968, Pontiac restyled the GTO, providing a more curvaceous body with semi fastback styling. New design features included horizontally aligned headlights, hidden wipers and optional hidden headlights. The '68 GTO's design was a significant departure from the model's first-generation styling but was extremely well received. For the 1969 model year, small changes were made including a slight grill and taillight revision, rear side marker lamp changes and the ignition key being moved to the steering column. Also in 1969, Pontiac wanted to create a high performance, lower priced, version of the GTO that would compete with Plymouth's Road Runner.Taking a basic GTO and adding the Ram Air 400ci V8, Rally II wheels, Hurst Shifter, wider tires, unique decals and a rear spoiler (all at the cost of $332), the GTO Judge was born. This true 1969 GTO Judge is the result of a 2-year frame-off restoration where nothing on the car was overlooked.Verified by PHS documentation, as well as Vintage Vehicle Services of Canada, this GTO Judge is the real deal. It's gleaming Carousel Red exterior with black vinyl top, with equally impressive chrome on the outside, carries you into its stunning black interior.Powered by a matching-numbers 400ci/366hp Ram Air III V8 tied to a 3-speed Turbo Hydromatic automatic transmission, this Judge fires right up and is ready to roll.As popularity of late '60s GTOs, especially the Judge, continue to rise, it is becoming more and more difficult to find a collector-worthy example on the market today. This '69 would be a terrific additional to any collection. Unless stated otherwise, mileage shown on odometer is exempt and unknown if original.

ALL RISE! HERE COMES THE JUDGE! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present a true legend: A 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge- in Liberty Blue on black. An authentic Judge complete with PHS docs Protecto-Plate warranty book two original Bill Of Sales and receipts.Pontiacs 1969 GTO Judge- a name derived from a skit on Rowan & Martins Laugh In TV show Here comes the Judge was planned to be a direct competitor to budget muscle cars but with the already well-quipped base GTO commanding a higher price than Plymouths Road Runner and others The Judge option added additional cost. The package consisted of the base 366 horse Ram Air III or optional (grossly under rated) 370 horse Ram Air IV engine functional cold air induction rear air foil tri-color side stripes blacked out grills The Judge glove box emblem (phased in after early production cars) and wheels devoid of trim rings. Hide-a-way headlights and hood tacks along with other equipment were optional on the GTO or The Judge. This investment-grade 3 owner Judge was built the first week of June 1969 (06A) and has received an exhaustive restoration. It is presented as it left the factory with the exception of the white vinyl top. Liberty Blue Judges are coveted- and look outstanding from every angle. Like many muscle cars the original engine left the building if you will early in its life. (We are told the original owner enjoyed it so much he actually went through 3 warranty engines until GM cut him off!) The current owner sourced a date-code correct 9790071 400 block (WS D 28 9) and mated it to the original 48 heads (C 31 9) intake (C 18 9) correct Ram Air exhaust manifolds and Rochester Quadrajet. This is a relatively low option car- just as was the concept for The Judge. The options that WERE ordered were all the right ones including AM Radio gauge package with tach special order axle (3:90-1) Close-Ratio Muncie M21 4-speed Safety-T-Track limited slip axle and heavy duty radiator. The 3:90-1 gear was swapped for a 3:55 for more reasonable highway revs. Outside and in this car does not disappoint and is a close to a new 1969 Judge you will see for the money. This car looks fierce just sitting there as if it were staged on a dragstrip on the cover of HOT ROD Magazine. Theres nothing like sitting in and driving one of these American Legends and the view from inside looking over the hood is exhilarating. Its like going back in time- a look a smell and sound no modern car can even come close to.
